Manage Meetings Settings

You can personalize the settings of your MiTeam Meetings application either from the Home screen, or during an ongoing meeting. You can change the general application settings; audio and video settings; report a problem with the application; and view the online help documentation, release information, the privacy policy, and the End User License Agreement. To personalize the settings in your Meetings application, do the following.

  1. Access the Settings panel by doing either of the following:
    • From the MiTeam Meetings home screen, click your avatar and from the panel that opens click Settings.
    • During an ongoing meeting, click from the control panel and then click .

    The Settings panel is displayed.

  2. Click the General tab to personalize the following settings.


    • To change your name or your avatar:
      1. Click the Edit icon ().
        • Edit your name in the field provided.
        • To change your avatar, click Upload. Navigate to and click the photo of your choice.
      2. Click Save. Clicking Cancel cancels the operation.
    • Always launch meeting links in desktop app – Select this check box to always prompt you to launch meeting links in the Meetings desktop application.
    • Show audio and video preview before joining a meeting – Select this check box to display the Audio and video preview panel before you connect to a meeting.
    • Turn on chat notification bubbles in a meeting – Select this check box to receive chat notifications during a meeting.
    • Always send me an email for meeting invites – Select this check box to receive an email invite to a meeting you are invited to.
  3. Click the Video tab to personalize the following settings.


    • Choose your preferred Camera from the drop-down list.
    • Turn on video when joining a meeting – Select this check box to always join a meeting with your video turned on.
    • Always turn on incoming video – Select this check box to display the video of other participants in the meeting who have turned on their video.
  4. Click the Audio tab to personalize the following settings.


    • Choose the preferred Microphone and Speaker from the respective drop-down lists.
    • Turn on my microphone when joining a meeting – Select this check box to always join a meeting with your microphone turned on.
  5. Click the About tab to view the URLs to the online help, release information, privacy policy, End User License Agreement, Fair Use Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
